Stephen Coles, Associate Curator & Editorial Director at the Letterform Archive, talks with Max about the history of the museum, special collections and the unique letter forms associated with neon signs. Located in San Francisco and founded by Rob Saunders in 2015, the collection, compromised of over 50,000 items - focuses on lettering, typography, printing, and graphic design.

She talks with Max about her move to Los Angeles, finding her tribe at the Museum of Neon Art in Glendale and touches on some very personal health challenges.
Kate Widdows is a graphic designer and neon sign maker. Kate began creating digital neon in animated GIF form, which is an image that's been encoded using the graphics interchange format where it has multiple frames encoded into a single image file and a web browser will play those images back in animated sequence.
